About Us
Leave no mess behind.
My name is Åsa Nilsson, and I am the creator of The Swedish Death Cleaning Hardcover Workbook.
Together with my husband, Thomas, I have spent years helping people bring order to their lives when things feel overwhelming, unclear, or simply too heavy to handle alone. This work grew out of real conversations with real people who wanted peace of mind but did not know where to start.
Swedish Death Cleaning may sound confronting at first, but it is not about death. It is about care, responsibility, and kindness. It is about choosing to organize your life now so your loved ones are never left with confusion, stress, or unanswered questions later.
Why this workbook exists
Many people feel stuck in constant “I’ll deal with this later” moments. Important papers are scattered. Accounts are forgotten. Wishes are never written down. When life is busy, these things are easy to avoid, until one day they become urgent.
This workbook was created to change that.
The Swedish Death Cleaning Hardcover Workbook is a guided, practical tool that helps you gather your most important information in one place. Documents, contacts, accounts, personal wishes, and notes are clearly structured so you can move through the process calmly, step by step.
No apps. No subscriptions. No pressure.
Just a physical book you can trust and return to whenever you need.
More than organization
Clutter is often a reflection of mental overload. When your home feels chaotic, your mind usually does too. When your affairs are unclear, stress follows quietly in the background.
This workbook is not only about organizing things. It is about creating clarity, reducing anxiety, and making life feel lighter. It helps you take control in a way that feels respectful, intentional, and human.
A philosophy rooted in care
Our guiding principle is simple: leave no mess behind.
That means taking responsibility for what we own, what we keep, and what we leave behind. It means thinking ahead with compassion, not fear. Swedish Death Cleaning is not about throwing everything away. It is about keeping what matters and letting go of what no longer serves you.
You are not alone
Feeling overwhelmed is normal. Starting is often the hardest part. This workbook exists to guide you gently, one section at a time, without judgment.
You move at your own pace.
You make the decisions.
You stay in control.
The book simply helps you create structure and clarity along the way.
What this can bring into your life
By bringing order to your affairs, many people experience more peace of mind, fewer daily frustrations, and more time for what truly matters. You may find it easier to communicate with loved ones, make better decisions, and feel confident that your wishes are known and respected.
Sometimes, organizing your life also means creating space for better health, stronger relationships, and a calmer mind.
Our mission
We are here for the meaningful parts of life. The practical ones, the emotional ones, and the ones people often avoid talking about.
This workbook was created with care, experience, and respect for the journey each person is on.
Thank you for being here.
Thank you for choosing clarity.
Thank you for choosing to leave no mess behind.
